RULES
PLEASE
WEAR WHITES
Play starts at 9-30 and each game is time limited to two hours, is 14
point handicap doubles to no base, so only one side has bisques.
Calculate bisques by adding up each pair’s handicaps, dividing by 2,
then subtracting the lower side from the higher giving the full game
number of bisques then, consulting the appendix on the main board,
reduce these to 14 point handicaps. N.B. NOT WEDNESDAY “HOW
MANY BISQUES DO I GET, LORNA”. Round up ¾ to 1 and
¼ to ½.
PAIRS
MUST PLAY IN HANDICAP ORDER i.e.
the pair with the lowest combined handicap must play as no.1. Pairs
need not remain the same throughout the day.
As
time is of the essence, please minimise conferring and coaching ON THE
LAWN.
EXPEDITION
IN PLAY please.
Scoring
is the same as a normal Wednesday, winning side score 20 + winning
margin, losers their actual score.
