At the NWF AGM, a number of changes were proposed to the meeting:

1.       Adoption of New Constitution for NWFCC

a.      Amendment for Chairman to retire after 3 years in office was carried

b.      Adoption of New Constitution was carried

2.      The Provision of Meals at NWFCC League Matches

a.      Proposal that all players should provide their own food was not carried

3.      Bisques in the Short Croquet League

a.      Amendment for games to last 90 minutes was carried

b.      Proposal that games should be played to full bisque handicap was carried (to comply with CA Rules)

4.      Handicap in GC Handicap League Matches to be limited to 14

a.      Amendment that no player should play off a handicap of higher than 12 was carried

5.      Election of Officers

a.      David Walters was installed as Secretary of the NWF

 As a result of 3a/b, the Bowdon Committee should consider changing Club Competition Rules to be changed to comply with the NWF changes.

In an attempt to get players' handicaps to an acceptable level, a Spring Masterclass of Club Handicappers is to be run by the NW Federation Handicapper, Don Williamson; a request was made to base it at Bowdon, amongst other venues.
