competition was open to all new members and
those who did the beginners’ course again
this year
but who have not
played in the competition before or in any
other club knockout competition. Games
were played on short lawns with a duration
of 1 hour 15 minutes, each player having 8
bisques. A Swiss format was used as there
were an odd number of players.
