WINTER COMPETITIONS
Finals Day, Monday 21st March

Finals Day of the winter competitions saw 2 finals played:
- in the 14pt. final, Adrian Apps beat Graham Good +3T
- in the 18pt. final, Ken Cooper beat Roger McCall +5
while the other contestants played some friendly games

... it was Roger's birthday and he still wasn't allowed to win!
Over the winter, a series of group games were played to decided who should compete in the knock-out stages (see rules for 14pt. matches and 18pt. matches); a breakdown of the group results can be found by clicking here.

14pt. finals: The winner of each block and the best three runners up contested the quarter-finals and semi-finals before 21st March:

18pt. finals: The winner of each block contested the semi-finals before 21st March:

The finals were played either side of a superb lunch consisting of soup, bread and cheese, fruit and cake, which was available in the clubhouse between 1-2pm.
The 14pt. final started at 11am and the 18pt. final at 1.45pm.
