Wednesday sees another of our annual fun
competitions, the Alternative Counties, which was
the brain child of John Saxby; he wanted each club
member who did not attend the national
Inter-Counties championship in Brighton each May
to be able to represent their own county of birth
(or near enough to make a day of it) in a similar
competition.
A strict dress
code of "whites" will be imposed and play will
start at 9.30am sharp; late-comers will risk
having their ball put on the yard-line (just like
the big boys)!

The winners will receive the
much-coveted Alternative Counties trophy
