CROQUET CLUB'S 94th ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
11am, Saturday, 22nd November, 2014
There was a good turnout of 52 club members for the Annual General Meeting. The President's Remarks were read out by the Club Secretary as he was unable to attend. Colin Irwin said in his report that the club was in a good position financially with good lawns to help bring on our newer members in the hope that they might go on to represent the club at league level. He congratulated the club's winning teams at national inter-club level as well as players at individual level. The Treasurer, Barry McKenzie, confirmed that the club was in a healthy position and that club subscriptions would remain at the present cost despite a motion from the floor to raise them in line with inflation. The club officers were re-elected en masse to continue and Carole Kelsall was elected as a new member of the committee. Club trophies were then presented to this year's winners by the Chairman, Lorna Frost, in Colin's absence.
