Saturday, 4th October: Bowdon beat Enfield 4-3 at Nottingham (Semi-Final of the C.A. Inter-Club Longman Cup)

Sunday, 5th October: Bowdon Firs beat Bury Peelers 5-2 (NWF Handicap League)

Bowdon Firs beat Bury Peelers today 5 - 2 in the last game of the season and spoilt the unbeaten run Bury have had this season.

 

In the morning:

 Lorna (8) beat Paul Kenworthy (2) +23 in just over an hour.

    Steve (9) beat Barbara Young (4.5) +21 in just under 2 hours

    Frank (2) & Bob (20) beat Ken (4.5) & Margaret Anderton (10) +6
- so we were 3-0 up at lunch.
In the afternoon:

    Frank lost to Paul -10

    Lorna lost to Barbara -4

    Steve beat Ken +13 and

    Bob beat Margaret +21.

 

A very good win.

Thursday, 2nd October: Bowdon beat Fylde 12-6 at home (NWF Golf League)
