team
was Carol Sinclair (Short Handicap of 10), John Haworth
(9), Graham Abraham (9) and Will Mellor (10). Bury's
team was Richard Harvey (5), Mac Hardman (6), Bob
Whittle (10) and Jean Hargeaves (10).
The win was even more impressive as two team members were making their debut for a club team and the other two had only 3 Short Team appearances between them. Newcomers Graham Abraham and Will Mellor won 3/4 and 2/4 respectively, whilst John Haworth won 4/4 and Carol Sinclair 2/4. A fine end to the season.
