The short team visited Fylde on Sunday. Despite battling valiently they were well beaten 4-12 with two of the home team 
members being in particularly good form. Bowdon players each won one game. 

The Fylde team members were: Ian Theakstone(3.5), Alan Morton(5), Nathan 
Baker(5), Leo Answorth(8). 

The afternoon was enlivened by the appearance of the Red Arrows, followed by a Lancaster Bomber and other aircraft of interest.
