| Thursday, 18th September: Bowdon are at
home to Pendle & Craven (NWF Golf League) Pendle came to play against our
golf team on a beautiful September day. Pendle won 10
games, and Bowdon 8, but most games were close fought
and enjoyable. Ros Pimlott and Roger McCall won their
doubles game, as did Chris Evans and Margaret Moss.
Chris and Margaret both won two of their four singles
games, and Ros and Roger both won one of theirs.
