| NWF GOLF LEAGUE Bowdon lose away 10-8 to Llanfairfechan On Saturday 21st June, the golf croquet team travelled to Llanfairfechan, and lost 8-10. Chris Evans and Anne Whalley won their doubles game. Carol Steinberg, Chris Evans and Anne Whalley won 2 of their singles games. Margaret Moss won one. We were grateful to Ros Pimlott, who drove the team to North Wales, and to Chris Evans, who navigated. Afterwards we celebrated the longest day of the year, by lying in a circle on the grass, to contribute to publicity for the Motor Neurone Disease Association. Lunch was kindly prepared by Georgina Llewellyn, including home grown bantam eggs. Her brother sadly developed this horrible disease. Margaret Moss
