Lawns were very wet and heavy. Delayed start to see whether it was going to clear a bit as it was raining heavily when we got there, and to clear puddles from one lawn. Reduced time, opted for 3 hour games, and more heavy rain during the morning. It did clear a bit later in the afternoon, and the lawns were starting to dry out.

Bowdon played Bury South at golf croquet at home on Thursday 5th June. The score was Bury South 8, Bowdon 10. Bowdon lost both doubles games, but David Holland, Ken Pimlott and Ros Pimlott each won 2 of their 4 singles games, and Margaret Moss won all 4 of hers.
