FEDERATION SHORT CROQUET LEAGUE Thursday 1st May 2014 BOWDON 4 PENDLE & CRAVEN 12 Bowdon entertained Pendle and Craven for the first Short Croquet match of the season Bowdon lost 12-4 after a hard fought but enjoyable contest. Everyone on the Bowdon team played well despite losing, and the visitors were well entertained with nice food. The Bowdon results were: Anne Whalley winning 2/4 games, Margaret Moss and Carol Steinberg 1/4, and Nan Bower 0/4. |
