Chris Evans and Carol Steinberg spent an enjoyable week in temperatures up to 40C at the Southern Cape Association Croquet Tournament held at Somerset West, Cape Town between 15th and 22nd February. Tucked away in a quiet corner of Radloff Park under the mountains and in view of the vineyards is one of the best kept secrets in Somerset West!
Carol reached the final of the Restricted Handicap Singles (handicaps 6 to 16), losing narrowly to Graham Saunders (Bury) by one hoop. Other winners included Mark Avery, Lionel Tibble and Dave Mundy.
