The Golf team travelled to Pendle on 17 Sept. and narrowly lost a hard fought match played in difficult conditions by 8-10.

Anne Whalley was the star of the Bowdon team with 3 singles wins from 4 games. In her debut for a club team Carol Sinclair performed with great credit against experienced and wily opponents.

This was the last match of the season for the Golf team. We finished equal second in the league, which is creditable, although winning would have been better!
