During the Wednesday Competition of August 8th, Steve Lewis' widow, Judith, came to the club with her family to kindly donate Steve's Pidcock mallet to the club; the committee will decide what shall become of it. She also presented the club with a special trophy given in Steve's memory and it will be presented to each week's Mars Bar winner. Steve was a great believer in the Wednesday Competition and travelled over from Liverpool each week to play in it.
