Sunday 28th July: Bowdon Short team travelled to Westmorland and lost 4-12 (NWF Short League)

The Short team enjoyed a difficult day away to Westmorland. The lawns were certainly not as fast as Bowdon! Alison Court was the best of the Bowdon players, winning two of her four games. Leo and Chris won one game each. It was not Carol's finest hour as she failed to win a game but enjoyed the gardens and lunch. The Westmorland team were: Elaine Newman (5), John Burrows (7), Mike Hodgson (7), Nancy Gregory (9)
