BOWDON SAINTS 3 22nd June 2013 Round 1 Mike Steer (5) lost to James Hawkins (-0.5) -7 Mike Sandler (2) lost to Dennis Graham (4.5) -5 John Lucas(4) beat David Guyton (6) +11 Round 2 Mike Steer beat Dennis +5 Mike Sandler lost to David -23 John lost -26tp James Round 3 Mike Steer beat David +15 Mike Sandler lost to James -23 John lost to Dennis -23 We had a plesant journey, each way, with sparkling wit and repartee to while away the time. It didn't rain which would have been a real disappointment. The lunch was very good. Mike Steer was the star, winning two games. John managed to scrape one win, and frightened James Hawkins so much that the poor chap had to rely on a triple peel to win. Mike Sandler drove very safely and had two servings of quiche.
