N.W. FEDERATION MILLENNIUM GOLF AT HEATON PARK, 4th May Neil Thompson Bowdon's two representatives for this year's Millennium Golf Tournament at Heaton Park both did very well. Margaret won 4 games out of 6 but Neil managed to reach the semi-final stage by winning his group. He then lost to Peter Fey from Chester, who lost in the final to Brian Poynton from Culcheth. Ironically, Neil had beaten the winner 7-4 in the group stage. It was a very long day and in the afternoon it was relentless, especially for Neil, with one game after another. Overall, it was a good experience for them both and the hospitality was excellent! Maragert Moss
