The Short Team drew their final match away against Llanfairfechan 8-8 on Saturday.  Particular mention should be made of Anne Whalley's debut in a Bowdon team, in which she won  one game 14-0.  Each player scored 2 wins, out of 4 games against tough opposition.  With one game still being played we were 8-7 down, having lost 3 of the last 4 games.  Anne Whalley held her nerve in a very close contest to win that last game on time, and save the match for Bowdon.  Thanks Anne.  A good end to an excellent season for the Short Team.
