ANNUAL
DINNER, Friday 23rd November
This year we had a change of venue for our Annual Dinner: it was held at the Bowdon Rooms, eating and dancing to Dominic Halpin and the Honey B's (a 50's/60's swing band) (for more about the Honey B's click here). Many thanks go to Kay Martin, Fiona Howard and Nan Bowers for organising the event.
Sixty attended the annual dinner at 8pm and everyone seemed to have a very good time. For those able to meet earlier, the clubhouse was open for drinks from 7pm. A raffle was held there and many thanks go to everyone who contributed the prizes, ensuring that £180 went towards club funds. Before leaving the club, our retiring President Martin Granger Brown treated everyone to a firework display to celebrate his 20 years on the club committee.
