| WEDNESDAY COMPETITION, 4th July As there was a CA v. Swiss CA match held at the club on Wednesday and Thursday, 4th & 5th July, the Wednesday competition was held in two halves as only 4 short lawns were available for members' use all day. 16 players competed in the morning session and the winner was Barry McKenzie. In the afternoon session only 4 players competed and the winner was Ian Bell.
Next week, the Alternative Counties competition will be held on 11th July and 6 teams will compete for the trophy. Do not turn up if you have not already put your name on the list as teams have now been finalised. There will be no Wednesday competition on 18th July as it is Northern Week. |
