PINK WEDNESDAY ONE-BALL COMPETITION, 21st March
 
The final winter one-ball event was played especially on behalf of the Breast Cancer Campaign's 'Sports Club Challenge'. This excellent charitable cause was associated with a 'Wear Something Pink' request.
The format was two knockout competitions: one handicap and one advanced rules, both with bisques.
 
The handicap event was won by Kay Martin who beat John Leckie +2; the losing semi-finalists were Patrick Cheyne & Jane Wilkinson. The advanced event was won by Barry Keen, beating Mike Steer 2-1 in a best-of-3 final; losing semi-finalists were Lorna Frost & David Holland. A total of £146 was raised for the charity.
