LAWN ROTA FOR 2012

All lawns are now set to almost full size, in 20 foot modules, i.e. 100 foot by 80 foot, as per the norm. Each year, Lawn 1 gets the most use throughout the season so it is to be protected this coming year. To alleviate the problem, a fortnightly lawn rota will be put in place and strictly adhered to, starting on
24th March as follows:
- Short Croquet will be set up on lawn 3 until the end of April
- the other lawns will be allocated to players in the order of 4, 2 & 1 the first week and 2, 4 & 1 for the week commencing 31st March
- play cannot commence on lawn 1 until lawns 2 & 4 are double-banked
- practise can be done on lawn 1 only when games have started on lawns 2 & 4
- games will commence on lawns 1 & 4 in reverse order to last year, i.e. hoop 1 will be positioned where hoop 3 was.

The rota in use for any particular day will constantly be displayed in the window of the club house on the white board or on the wall near by.
The system will be reviewed throughout the year.
