AGM 2011, Saturday 19th November
New Committee Members & Club Competitions' Prize Winners

There was a good turnout of 61 club members for
the 91st Annual General Meeting held at the clubhouse today.
Martin Granger Brown gave his Presidential Remarks to the club members in attendance in which he outlined the progress that the club has made over the last 100 years
(read them by clicking here). The accounts were presented by Hon. Treasurer Barry McKenzie who requested a rise in subscriptions of 10% to cover the expected increase in ground maintenance for the coming year. The House Manager's report was read by Colin Irwin in Barry Keen's absence (read it by clicking here).
Three of the club's committee resigned so the club members had to vote in three more to serve. Ian Lines, who served on the committee for 14 years as well as making an enormous contribution to the club, was replaced by Ken Cooper as the new Croquet Secretary. Chris Irwin, who has served the club for 30 years in various roles, and Esther Walker, who has contributed in the field of PR/Advertising for 2 years, were replaced by Charles Harding and Kay Martin.
The presentation of prizes brought the AGM to a close.
