BEWARE OF ACCOUNT HACKING

Some people in the club have had their email accounts hacked, causing emails to be sent to recipients in their address book stating that they have been mugged and money should be sent to a particular account. It is most probable that their password was compromised, probably by a direct attack but possibly by some other means.
It can be as simple as someone phoning you to ask for your password or an email request from someone pretending to be from BT asking for your private details - never give any details of your account out.
