NW FEDERATION LEAGUE MATCHES ON SUNDAY, 10th JULY

Bowdon 10 Fylde 6 in the Short League
After last week's triumph in the short game this week's team had a lot to live up to. Adam, Brian, Louise and Iman had to fend off Fylde which can be strong in the short game. All of the team won at least one game to give us a final score of 10-6 making Iman's first outing as captain a happy one. With the Fylde team as chatty and friendly as we have come to expect from them a lovely day was had by all which was interrupted only twice by a short burst of rain throughout the day.

A very enjoyable day was had by all, except for a cloudburst that caused an early lunch to be taken.  Kay played her first ever inter-club match against very strong opposition and will clearly win games for Bowdon in the future.
