a beautiful day at Bowdon,
Llanfairfechen were unable to cope with an inspired Bowdon team and the
very fast lawns.
Adam and Johnathan Swinton, and
Carol Steinberg were all on superb form, winning 4 out of 4 games each.
Iman van den Bout could "only" manage 3 out of 4, and as a penance with
be captain for our next match. Dave Holland, the non-playing captain,
enjoyed lunch but was otherwise only required to reset hoops which
seemed to be shrinking in the hot sun!
