THE INTER-COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP
28th May - 31st May 2011
Five Bowdon members were in the Cheshire team in the Inter Counties, played on the South coast at Southwick in Brighton and Compton in Eastbourne.  All matches were doubles and Cheshire's pairings were:  Ian Lines/Ken Cooper (with 7 wins out of 10 games), Colin Irwin/Alan Mayne (6/10) and David Maugham/Nick Harvey (6/10). Nick is the only non-Bowdon player; he was born in Cheshire but emigrated to South Africa when he was four years of age, and he now plays at Woking C.C.).

Cheshire finished with 6 wins out of 10 and came 3rd overall (see scoreboard below).
Somerset won the first division while Essex were the second division winners.
