CLUBHOUSE REFURBISHMENT
HEALTH & SAFETY DURING REFURBISHMENT WORK – MEMBERS MUST NOT ENTER THE CLUBHOUSE
I wish to emphasise that the clubhouse is closed to all members for the duration of the work.  No member is permitted to enter the clubhouse until further notice.  This is because the club house is an official building site covered by Health and Safety regulations.  These regulations do not permit members of the public onto the site.  The builder is responsible for maintaining this position and if members continue to enter, then he will have to put up a fence at our expense.  Therefore I re-emphasise please keep out.  You are free to peer through the windows if you want to see how things are going but that is all.

REFURBISHMENT APPEAL
I am delighted to report that the refurbishment appeal has received a very fine response from members, and so far over £16000 has been pledged. Work on site is commencing imminently, and with your invaluable help the full programme of improvements will now be undertaken.
I anticipate asking for your donation in mid March, and will write again with more information before then.
