ENTRY METHOD FOR C.A.
TOURNAMENTS AT BOWDON IN 2011
The C.A. has asked Bowdon to
trial online tournament entry through the C.A. website for all C.A.
tournaments to be held at Bowdon in 2011.
Bowdon is the only club
trialling this in 2011 but this system is expected to become the norm
in the future for all C.A. tournaments,
especially when cheques are
phased out in 2018.
However, although people are
encouraged to apply online, we will still accept entries by all the
usual routes.
This means that this system should be used by any player wishing to
enter the following events at Bowdon in 2011:
May Handicap
Weekend , 30th April - 2nd May
June Advanced Weekend, 4th - 5th June
North of England Week, 16th - 21st
July
North of England Championship, 26th
- 29th August
B-Level Advanced Weekend, 24th - 25th September
The Fixtures
Book was sent out to CA members on Tuesday, 25th January, so everyone
should have theirs by now.
The online Fixtures Calendar is now final and the online entry
system for 2011 will now accept entries;
click here to do so and
just follow the menu giving the appropriate responses.
Exact
details of how to enter C.A. Tournaments using the online entry system:
1.
Click on 'Tournament Entry & Payment'
2. Login by entering your CA Membership number (found
on your CA Membership Card) and your Post Code;
click on 'Login' box
3. Click on 'select the tournaments'
4. Select the tournaments you wish to enter by ticking the
appropriate box; click on 'Continue: Select Events'
5. Click on the appropriate entry fee for each tournament
entered; click on 'Continue: Enter Options'
6. Tick on the appropriate lunch option and Reserve List
boxes, as required
7. Click on the type of card to Select Payment Method
8. Enter card details and proceed to the appropriate
validation checks
