Bowdon won the short team match against Southport by 10 games to 6.
 
Iman Van den Bout and Carol Steinberg both had excellent days, Iman winning 4 out of 4 and Carol 3 out of 4. Jean Teare added 2 and Tony Camm 1 to take us past the winning post.
