In fantastic weather Mark Lloyd won the Southport Super B-level  Tournament at the weekend  (25/08/10).

After 4 games 6 of the 14 players were on 3 wins and 1 loss. To pick the 2 finalists a 'penalty shootout' was held  by starting with 2 balls in corner 4 with a dolly rush to hoop 4. The winners were the 2 players who made the most hoops with a 2 ball break whilst the other 13 contestants watched and made loud comments.

During the final games the lawns were buzzed by a golden eagle which was part of a bird of prey display at the Southport flower show.
 
Richard Smith  also won 4 out of 5 and his handicap dropped to 1.
