NW FEDERATION CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS
(Southport 26th and 27th June)

Chester won the overall Club Championship winning 3 ouf 4 sub-competitions.
 
Bowdon came 5th in the Handicap and Golf competitions and bottom (6th) overall.
For the Handicap team things went better than expected on Saturday as we were playing on the poorer lawns. We lost our first match 3-0, but modified our play in the second and third matches and managed to win them both 2 - 1. Unfortunately, we lost both our matches on Sunday, on the good lawns, 2 - 1.
 
The Golf Team won one and lost one on the Saturday and Sunday was no better.
