HANDICAP WEEKEND AT CHESTER, 15th-16th May Four Bowdon members took part in this 2-day invitation event Dave Holland was our success story, being runner-up and winning the Egyptian, improving his handicap from 11 to 10 on the way. Barry McKenzie also improved his handicap from 12 to 11 by winning 3 from 5. Those two handicap changes will please all Wednesday regulars!! Barry and Steve were both beaten semi-finalists in the knockout. John won 3 from 5 but the number of his matches ending 'on time' reflect the vagaries of the rippling lawns of Chester.
