Last years' entrants to the|Novices Bowl

Anyone who had joined the club in the last year was invited to attend the Beginners' Refresher Course, free of charge.
 
Ken Cooper gave the tuition, so there was a  chance to go over some of the shots or strategy with which beginners may be having trouble before the season really began in earnest.
