2009 WCF Women's World Golf Croquet Championship, 21st-28th November

Ros Pimlott is one of three English ladies competing in this year's World Golf Croquet Championship at the Victorian Croquet Centre (VCC).  The VCC is the major croquet complex in the state of Victoria, Australia, with 12 lawns in the Melbourne suburb of Cairnlea.

There were 8 blocks with 7 players in each block, each playing the best of 3 games against the others in the block.  Ros completed all of her matches in Block C but was unable to win a game so she entered the Plate.  There she has had two wins out of her 6 matches played.
Ex-Bowdon member, Jenny Clarke, got knocked out in the semi-final of the main event but won the 3rd place play-off. Alix Verge of Australia is the new World Champion.
