Ground Improvements in
Readiness for the
MacRobertson Shield Test Match

The club grounds have
started to be enhanced in readiness for the 1st
MacRobertson Shield Test
Match between
Great Britain and the United States of America, which is scheduled to
be played at Bowdon from 6th - 10th August 2010 (Practice and Opening Ceremony on 5th
Aug.).
Steps
have been cut into the west bank of lawn 3 which will lead to a seated
area from which spectators will be able to watch the matches.
The actual shield (above) was on display at the club recently.
