Congratulations
go to Gail Curry who beat Paul Rigge to win the first Southport Super
'B' Level Tournament and well done to Nick Saxton for winning the
plate. Six Bowdon
members also played in this event: the four above plus Melanie &
Terry Foster.
There
was a
strong field for a non-A Class event, with handicaps
ranging from -0.5 to 4. The lawns were in beautiful condition, being
fast with a good surface and very little toad grass/weeds in evidence.
As ever, the food and hospitality of the Southport Club was excellent.
