champion Margaret Russell and 23 other
people who qualified for the 10th Wild Wednesday turned up in their
whites and enjoyed 3 games of croquet in nice sunny conditions.
Colin
Wild presented one of his motor racing trophies to winner Ken Cooper
after making a short speech (for him), thanking Lorna Frost for
managing the event, Alan Mayne for producing some nice fast lawns and
John Saxby, who originally came up with the idea of running a Wednesday
Competition in the first place.
