It should be stated that a pipe had burst under the Bury Clubhouse overnight, which was only discovered when Len went to open up on Sunday morning. The Club house, as a result, was flooded out and water was gushing from the Club and down the drains until mid afternoon, when someone from the Water Board finally located a stop-cock down the hillside and was able to turn off the flow.
