The
Bowdon Short team played at Pendle on Saturday and narrowly lost 7-9.
The team was:

It was a worthy
performance considering the conditions: much standing water and only
two playable lawns in the morning. But the Pendle team did excellent
work trying to sweep the water from the lawns.
