MARY ROSE INTER-CLUB TROPHY, Sunday 28th June
Bowdon played their 2nd round match in this national competition (for players with a handicap of 1 or greater) at home to Edgbaston today. It was meant to have been away but, as there was a flash-flood on their lawns yesterday and they were unplayable, the tie was switched to Bowdon. They now meet Bristol in the 3rd round on Sunday, 12th July.
