Mike and Sylvia won the The Daldry Cups, the trophies for the doubles competition, in the Budleigh Salterton May Tournament. In the singles event, Mike won his block but lost to Charles Townshend, the winner of the parallel block, -1T -3T in a best of three final. Richard Griffiths won the Egyptian event.
