KEITH AITON IS RUNNER-UP

Keith Aiton finished up as runner-up in the NZ Open when he lost to Stephen Mulliner in the final in Christchurch on Sunday. The score was +17, +6, -10tp, +25.

Earlier in the week Ian Lines made a terrific start to 2009  by winning, with New Zealand partner Michael Wright,  the Open Doubles. They beat Stephen Mulliner (England) and Mark Jenner (Australia) +17, +19 in the final on Tuesday.
