Bowdon had 3 players competing in the wet
and windy conditions in a
field of 12. Play was in a Swiss format, each player playing 5 matches.
The winner was Terry Vernazza (16) from Fylde winning all of his games,
with Bowdon's John Lucas coming second with 4 wins; Janet Guthrie won 3
and Steve Reynolds 2.
The tournament was well organised by Abdul Ahmad and the food and
refreshments were all very good; many thanks to Pendle for running it.
