BEGINNERS' COURSE MAY/JUNE2008


The Beginners' Course set a new record of attendants when 31 participants came along to the first lessons on a beautiful summer evening (May 7th).
 
Coach Ken Cooper took the group through the first session ably supported by a good turn out of club members.

After 6 intensive weeks of coaching this year's crop of beginners, 6 have joined the club as full playing members and several more have taken away membership forms to, hopefully, fill in and return.
Coach Ken Cooper wishes to thank all the club members who gave up their time to assist in the coaching and be on hand to give tuition in the games that followed. Also, thanks go to the backroom club members who helped to do the administration and provide food & drink after each week's lesson.
