Ian Lines won the Plate Event in the World Golf Croquet Championships in South Africa.
Ian finished second in his Group in the main event to qualify for the last 32 knockout stage where he was beaten by Egyptian Amr Baher 7-4, 7-4. In the consolation Plate event Ian came out as the winner beating Peter Batchelor of New Zealand 7-5, 7-5.
In the main event the World Golf Croquet Championship was won by Ahmed Nasr of Egypt who beat Reg Bamford of South Africa 7-6, 7-4, 2-7, 7-2.
