| Sixteen
players from
all over the North-West of England met up at Pendle yesterday to decide
which three should go forward to the national finals at Roehampton.
Jenny Dennis, Janet Guthrie, Sue Cooper & Francois Garcia all ended
with 3 wins out of their 5 games while Chris Irwin, unfortunately, did
not trouble the scorers. Jenny is first reserve and Janet Guthrie
second, should any of the three winners drop out and not be able to go
down to London in 2 weeks time. Congratulations go to Francois for obtaining her Bronze Award at the tournament! |
