BEGINNERS' COURSE - MAY 2006
29 eager beginners turned up on the first night of this year's 6-week course, run by Ken Cooper and ably assisted by club members whose help was gratefully received. The weather was bright and sunny and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves, keen to return next week for some more lessons.
A further 3 people came along to join the original 29 on the second week of the course. The weather was somewhat different from the first week but everyone was eventually able to get on to the lawns after they went through some theory in the clubhouse while waiting for the rain to abate!
